Sadly, I can't see myself ever buying another Arturia product, certainly not the $2k Matrixbrute.Įnglish is not my first language so please bear with me here :) But even an amazing synth is no use if it breaks two months in. It's a shame because they are making really great-sounding and interestingly-designed products. FINALLY they sent me a replacement keybed - something that could have and should have been done as soon as they got my first customer support ticket months earlier. The only thing that caught their attention was when I hijacked a comment thread on Synthtopia about the Minibrute SE - detailing how horrible their service was on this post that was supposed to be promoting their new unit. It literally took me six months to get Arturia to send me a replacement for this part when the synth was still very much under warranty! I would open a ticket with customer support and nothing would be done, I would finally get someone to talk to me via email and they would eventually just stop responding. My Minibrute keybed broke within a couple months of use (another design/manufacturing flaw). Not to pile on, but I have to enthusiastically agree about Arturia. Anyway, does anyone know what the R22 resistor is? I couldn't find a close up photo online. I just don't understand, why piss off your customers? Wouldn't it make sense to keep them happy so they buy more of your stuff? Arturia could really take a cue from Dave Smith/Sequential. I suppose others have experienced the same nonsense. I will NEVER buy another product from them again!. What the hell is wrong with these people? They don't bother to read what I write at all? I can't imagine owning a Matrixbrute or some other pricey poc from this sad company. Wait a couple more days and I hear back: "resolder the components is probably the best." and he sends a "helpful" link to the very same video that I included in my original inquiry. I also include a picture of the board and problem in question. So I reply with their requested info about my address and proof of purchase and again ask for the R22 resistor info.
No info about the resistor or a schematic. Wait a couple of days and hear back from them with a generic response to try another computer (which I already had, the unit was already on my bench and the problem was clearly described in my support ticket). No schematics online, I contact support and include a link to this video which I wanted to do except I need the resistor info. So I open it up and notice that the USB jack is off the board and the resistor (R22) is broken.
